About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #77273) with a Master of Social Work degree from USC School of Social Work. I have been in the mental health field providing psychotherapy since 2014. Outside of work, I enjoy drawing and illustration, roller skating, and spending time in nature.

I am bisexual. For myself, I use “Bi+” and “Queer” interchangeably. Among many resources, people, and experiences, therapy was an essential part of my coming out experience. I feel honored to do this work.

I currently work with teens and adults of all genders coming to therapy for a variety of reasons including:

  • anxiety and depression

  • self-esteem / self-compassion

  • exploring sexual orientation and gender identity

  • creative professionals

  • consultations with parents or loved ones who want to learn how to support their questioning, queer, or trans/non-binary/gender expansive teen or adult.

  • consultations with professionals (therapists, medical providers, etc) on bisexuality, bi+ community.

  • anyone with a preference to be seen by a queer / bisexual therapist

What is Therapy With Me Like?

In the beginning sessions, therapy can feel uncomfortable. This is probably true for everyone. You might have spent your whole life being strong on your own. You might feel shame around the feeling or situation that’s brought you to therapy. So it makes sense that spending more time with your feelings and sharing them with a “stranger” might feel strange at first. In just a few sessions, we will develop a sense of safety and trust and you will feel able to share openly.

My style is:

  • Compassionate and exploratory. I will gently challenge you to examine where you’ve been, where you are presently, and where you’d like to go.

  • I view my role as therapist as a wayfinder for growth and change. I don’t have a map and it’s okay if you don’t either. Together we’ll explore what’s coming up and help you find a way forward.

  • I am here to help you develop insight and self-awareness, navigate uncertainty, and hold kindness for yourself while on this journey.

Effective psychotherapy can be a transformative process. I practice from an attachment-lens to help you better connect to yourself and others. I adapt a variety of techniques including narrative therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused EMDR, and expressive arts therapies to support your healing and well-being.
